Service Description:As a Business Analyst at SITO, you will play a key role in our client's digital transformation. The company is committed to significantly improving efficiency and quality while supporting the energy transition, the increase in renewable energy, and the nuclear phase-out. To achieve these goals, full digitization of operations and process harmonization between the Belgian and German branches is essential.

The Business Analyst is responsible for designing efficient business processes, capturing business needs, and translating them into specifications for IT systems. Acting as a bridge between business users and IT partners (functional analysts, project managers, architects, etc.), you will challenge all stakeholders to ensure optimal and pragmatic IT solutions that support business processes.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to analyze and model our Assets and Infrastructure processes using Sparx Enterprise Architect, following the BPMN 2.0 methodology, while ensuring alignment with other stakeholders. As a Business Process Analyst, you will also contribute to developing methodology and coaching other business analysts when needed. Additionally, you may support other projects by preparing Business Requirements documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Model business processes and guide teams in redesigning their workflows.

Challenge business requirements and propose optimized "to-be" processes.

Harmonize business processes across different departments and with international stakeholders.

Identify business needs and translate them into structured requirements (epics/features/user stories).

Develop business information models describing the necessary data for implementing requirements (interfaces, screens, reports, etc.).

Align and validate requirements between business teams and IT.

Review and validate IT's functional analyses.

Test and validate system releases post-implementation, including UAT support.

Play an active role in change management, including training end-users and developing training materials.

Provide post-implementation support for business teams using IT tools.

Requirements:

Master's degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in identifying needs, defining business requirements, and designing business processes.

Strong English proficiency (reading & writing).

Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (mandatory).

Analytical mindset with a critical and challenging approach.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and in teams, facilitating consensus and persuading stakeholders.

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Customer-oriented and flexible attitude.

Basic knowledge of MS Project (or willingness to learn) for planning-related projects.

Knowledge of BPMN and UML.

Experience with EA (Enterprise Architect), Jira & DevOps is a plus.

Prior experience in the electricity sector is an advantage.
