As part of a BI team, you work closely with the Data teams to provide data that is accurate, congruent and reliable, to turn data into information and knowledge.

Required Responsibilities:

- You understand the customer needs and translate these requirements into robust and scalable data solutions.
- You provide insights trough ad-hoc data analysis or structural dashboards
- You complete and structure the data that is needed to conduct analysis
- You critically examine the different source data available within the Datawarehouse. You create data quality tickets where needed. You actively maintain the quality of metadata repository/data dictionary
- You identify new data sources and make sure they become available in the DataWarehouse/DataLake. You define the detailed requirements and manage the requests towards the data inflow teams
- You track and report out on issues and requests status
- You structure the data into datamarts using best practices in order to optimize their user friendliness and reusability. You consolidate and clean existing datamarts according to guidelines from data governance
- You maintain the necessary contacts with the data architects and the DataWarehouse team so that you understand the underlying data flows for your datamarts and the latest evolutions in the BI domain
- You create scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation
- You develop work plans including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions. You manage workflow to meet deadlines

Degree & Experience:

- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics... or equivalent work experience with specialized training/certification
- 5+ years of experience supporting or working with Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing environments
- Knowledge of the ICT industry

Technical skills:

- Strong knowledge of SQL (Teradata /Oracle) - to be used in a business intelligence context
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications with an emphasis on PowerBI and Excel
- Strong knowledge of database management and datawarehousing
- Strong Data modelling skills
- Knowledge of Big Data tools (Hive, Python, Spark...) is a plus
