Our Client - Insurance Sector
We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our client's Program and Project Management department within Mutual IT. The selected candidate will oversee one or more IT infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
The role involves managing projects related to:
Workflow management
GED (Electronic Document Management) optimization
My Health platform development
The IT Project Manager will primarily interact with internal teams and departments and requires both project management expertise and a strong technical background.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Tasks
Develop and maintain project plans for assigned projects.
Ensure project delivery aligns with schedule, budget, scope, and quality standards.
Define timelines and milestones to ensure structured progress.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to project delivery.
Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between different sub-projects.
Ensure compliance with standards and best practices across all projects.
Lead and manage internal staff and/or external contractors.
Propose technical solutions and innovations proactively.
Provide progress reports to stakeholders, including program managers and steering committees.
Secondary Tasks
Promote project management best practices within the organization.
Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Manage conflicts, both technical and non-technical.
Ensure smooth coordination and operational functionality of project teams.
Define roles and responsibilities within project teams and among stakeholders.
Monitor and address change requests and feedback from customers on a continuous basis.
Provide coaching, training, and team management support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, particularly in:
Application development (JAVA environments)
IT Infrastructure & Development environments
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Certified in PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent through experience.
